Today's Evensong is that of Vespers from the Chapter onwards
of St. Cyril of Jerusalem, BCD

Pater noster, qui es in cælis, sanctificétur nomen tuum.  Advéniat regnum tuum.  Fiat volúntas tua, sicut in cælo et in terra.  Panem nostrum quotidiánum da nobis hódie.  Et dimítte nobis débita nostra, sicut et nos dimíttimus debitóribus nostris.  Et ne nos indúcas in tentatiónem : sed líbera nos a malo.  Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.  Thy Kingdom come.  Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us.  And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil.  Amen.

Ave, María, grátia plena ; Dóminus tecum : benedícta tu in muliéribus, et benedíctus fructus ventris tui Jesus.  Sancta María, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatóribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostræ.  Amen.

4  When he giveth his beloved sleep : * behold, children are the heritage of the Lord: the reward, and the fruit of the womb.
5  Like as the arrows in the hand of the mighty, * even so are the children of them that have been shaken.
6  Blessed is the man that hath filled the desire with them; * he shall not be confounded when he shall speak with his enemies in the gate.

Grant, we beseech thee, Almighty God : that at the intercession of thy blessed Bishop Saint Cyril, we may learn to know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent ; that we may be found worthy to be numbered for ever among the sheep that hear his voice.  Through the same Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord.  Who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end.
