Before Compline the Dual Prayer is not said as at the other Hours, but the Lector, making a profound reverence, begins at once.

Noctem quiétam et finem perféctum concédat nobis Dóminus omnípotens.

May the Lord Almighty grant us a quiet night and a perfect end.

If Matins follow immediately after Compline, the Triple Prayer is said twice, the first time for the end of the preceding day, and the second time for the beginning of the Office of the following day.

And NOTE, That there is no kneeling in Eastertide during the Office.  (The Prayers before and after Office are, however, said kneeling as usual.)
